The game that introduced us to the now-infamous GDI and Nod factions, that got us all so excited for the release of Renegade all those years later, and that we have to thank for spawning one of the best RTS franchises around. I know you’ll probably disagree with some but I hope we can at least agree on a couple here. It’s a tough series to rank but I’ve managed to rank my top 10 picks for the absolute best C&C games out there. The personality of each game shines through and adds an extra level to the already stellar gameplay of the games. The dialogue is also a highlight of the series, with rocketeers ‘riding high’ and commanders who are all so keen to let the enemy know that they have a present for them. One of the more enjoyable elements of the games that makes them stand out is the humorous live-action video sequences throughout campaign mode and their memorable personalities like Tanya and Yuri who stick with us to this day. So, even if you have units that are higher than this level, they will be downgraded to level 6 during matches.The Command & Conquer series is one of the undisputed kings of the RTS genre. As soon as the game starts, you join the Iron League. Command & Conquer Rivals has two leagues, “iron” and “bronze”. This is because there is a level cap in both of the leagues in the game at the moment. However, at this stage, you don’t need to upgrade any units more than level 7. The level upgrade process requires “credits” and “unit cards” each time. You can raise the level of each unit in the game: We have explained how you can do this in another guide. In short, spending your resources to produce cheap common units rather than expensive rare ones is sometimes a much better idea.
With them, you can eliminate the enemy tank and win the combat. But while your enemy spends all his resources on the production of this tank, you will still have a third Missile Squad that you can use.
So, why is this important? A single tank can easily eliminate two Missile Squad teams.
